Residential: Eye on Water

The District is progressively installing new cellular transmitters on water meters. You may have already had this installation, or it will be scheduled soon. Once your new cellular transmitter is installed, you will be able to view and manage your water usage from your computer or mobile device using Badger Meters’ ‘Eye On Water’ service.

To get started, create your account at www.eyeonwater.com using your 12-digit Green Mountain Water account number. You can find your account number on your bill, or contact the District for assistance. We’re always here to help!

For example, if your account number is 11111, you would enter 000000011111 (seven zeros followed by your account number) for a total of 12 digits. If your account number is 111-01, you would enter 000000111-01 (six zeros followed by your account number, including the dash).

Once registered, you can set leak alerts by clicking on ‘Leak Notification.’ Set it for intermittent flow and 0 gallons per hour. You will then receive an email or text message if there is constant water flow over a 24-hour period. Understanding your water usage in this way can help conserve one of our greatest natural resources and provide insight into your property’s water efficiency.
